It is decorated with the Military Cross 14-18 with 4 palms, with the Military Cross 39-45 with 3 palms and with the Military Cross of the theaters of external operations with 2 palms and a star of bronze. It is entitled to the port of fodder with the colors of the military decoration with 2 olives for the Military Crosses 14-18 and 39-45 and fodder with the colors of the Military Cross .
Professional regiment for more than twenty years it has been composed of 1100 combatants.

5th Company Unity of Intervention of Reserve
Like all the professional regiments, 21st has a Unity of Intervention of Reserve . The 5th company of the 21st Regiment of Marines is made up of approximately 80 personnel resulting as well from the national service as from the active one. Good number of the porpoises and frameworks of the 5th Company are originating in the Weapon and a growing number of old of the 21 comes to strengthen the rows of the unity each year.
This at the same time professional composition and Troops of #8C2A1D made it possible the company to quickly go up in power to see itself entrusting real missions. Some had opportunity of leaving in (Djibouti, ) or (Operation Unicorn #FFFFFF Coast).
The company is integrated perfectly in the Regiment. It is a company with whole share with a strong Troupes identity of Navy.

The activities of the 5th company break up into ain categories
1.Les periods of instruction
The instruction which is in the middle of the activities of the company, generally proceeds over 3 days: Friday Saturday and Sunday.
During these periods of instruction, each one has its level of responsibility (Steam Generator, TE, foreman, team leader, section head) For the theoretical, practical exchange rates with the regiment or on the ground are with the program.

2. Interior Operations

3. Military Preparations.
